The talk will focus on the Law of the Sea Projects in the Arctic and Eastern Canada, which is gathering solid scientific data to support Canada’s claim to the extended continental shelf in the Arctic. This data will be forwarded to the United Nations by December 2013 – will determine how far Canada’s continental shelf extends in the seabed under the melting ice.
